2010 Year in Review January 6, 2011

We started off the year with a pretty big schedule.  First we built the raffle car for the American Sand Association.  A lot of time and traveling to display the car and promote the ASA was spent with this project.  The car was raffled away in California at the Sand Super Show in September. The winner was present, so it was a huge success.

We also traveled to several off road shows displaying our race cars for our sponsors.  This was our way of supporting them, and a way for us to give back to them. We also took on the challenge of supporting the T.A.C.A. (Talk About Curing Autism) organization.  We were able to raise $800.00 for them and we have added the autism puzzle to the hood of our race car. We will continue to do this for the 2011 year. We also donated and collected from all of you additional items to give to the children's orphanage in Mexico. We dropped off items during the Baja 500 as well as the Baja 1000.  I would guess that there was over 1000 pounds of food, clothes, cleaning supplies, toys, and school supplies.  They really need and appreciate all the items we bring. We also had a 4th of July team and friend party in the cool mountains with a lot of you attending, and everyone having a fun time.  We will be gathering at the cabin again this 4th of July and you are all invited again.  We are also planning a trip to Lake Powell for the 2011 year.  We are hoping to do this sometime close to the end of July, we will keep you posted.

Great Year with BITD & SCORE
Our racing year was a huge success! In the BITD series we started out with the Parker race and party.  The 1123 car finished 3rd and the 2009 car finished 4th. We were then on to the Silver State 300 race where the 1123 car finished 1st, the 1178 car finished 3rd, and the 2009 car finished 3rd as well. From there we headed to the Vegas to Reno race where the 1123 car finished 1st and the 2009 car finished 3rd.  Next was the Parker Blue Water Desert Challenge.  The 1123 car finished 5th, the 1178 car finished 6th, and the 2009 car finished 4th.  The last race of the season was the Henderson Trans West Ford 250 where the 1123 car finished 2nd, the 1178 car finished 3rd, the 2009 car finished 3rd, and the 1099 car finished 3rd as well.

At the year-end championship awards we took 2nd in class and received the Toyota Milestone Award. This award goes go to those pro car and truck drivers who finish every required mile in the five-race 2010 SCORE Desert Series.

FORD RACING
Also in 2010 we started a relationship with Ford racing and began developing the Ford motor for the 1100 class in the BITD series.  This has been a great relationship and looks very promising for everyone in the future.  We will run Ford motors in all our 1100 cars during the 2011 year at BITD.

Thank You!
All of what we do and what we have accomplished during the 2010 year and racing season could not have been done without the support of our sponsors, team members, and families.  We can't even begin to say thanks enough! This was a special year and I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we have. I can never say it enough that our team is the BEST and with all of your continued support, who knows what 2011 will bring. Thanks again.

I hope that everyone had a great Christmas and holiday season.  May the New Year bring good things to all. Thanks for all your help and support in the past and we look forward to seeing you in the future.
